The Union Hotel redevelopment, also known as Courthouse Square, will be 443,291 SF in total. There will be new hotel rooms on each floor, 206 residential units, 20,000 square feet of retail and restaurant space, and garage parking. The project will restore the city’s historic charm and keep the design of the old Union Hotel building.
March installed scaffolding and bracing to the historic Union Hotel in an effort to restore as much of the building as possible, despite major fractures apparent in the brick walls. Flemington Furs and 82 Main Street are coming down to make way for parking and a large open courtyard with retail on both sides.
